كتب الشيخ عبدالرحمن بن محمد ابن قاسم العاصمي (ت ١٣٩٢) مقدمة في التفسير ، ووضع عليها حاشية نفيسة. ومباحث هذه المقدمة في علوم القرآن. وبعضهم يظن أنها حاشية على مقدمة التفسير التي كتبها شيخ الإسلام ابن تيمية رحمه الله تعالى، وهذا لبس بسبب تشابه الاسمين، ولكنه رحمه استفاد من مقدمة شيخ الإسلام وقرر فيها كثيرا من آرائه.
